Is there one that's clearly the most powerful or rich?

Los Zetas/Gulf Cartel (which is in the process of being bifurcated by Los Zetas) and the Sinoalan cartels are at least first amongst equals.

gd but i LOVE color coded maps !!!

WOOT !!!

EPIC WIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah?? Well ALL of Mexico is Telcel territory. Beat that, Chapo! ;)

PS: And BTW, Beltrán Leyva (a.k.a. 'El Barbas') was killed 2 days ago by a squad of Navy soldiers in Cuernavaca, Morelos —in a posh apartment full of musicians and US$500/hr hookers; narcos sure know how to throw a Xmas parteeh! ;)

So the map might need some editing in the future, since chances are the remaining lieutenants in Beltran's gang will fight each other in the coming months to grab a piece of that turf.
