Palin Just Like Thatcher?
By Cernig
John O'Sullivan, who was once an advisor to Margaret Thatcher, writes in the Wall Street Journal today that Sarah Palin could be just like Maggie T, given time. It's an unlikely proposition, given the circumstances.
But in any case, only someone like O'Sullivan - who is now so sidelined from mainstream British politics that he's fully given himself over to American wingnuttery like the National Review and the Hudson Institute - could possibly think saying anyone being like The Handbagger is a compliment.

Whatever else you say about Thatcher she clearly had a functioning brain. That alone should have allowed O'Sullivan to distinguish the two. Thanks for the laugh.
