Holy Joe And The Invertebrates

By Cernig

Kevin Drum has the news and the only thing that really needs said. I hope he doesn't mid if i quote his whole post.

I see that Senate Democrats have voted to allow Joe Lieberman to keep his committee chairmanship. I guess they really showed him, didn't they? No Democrat will ever dare to support a Republican candidate for president, speak at the Republican national convention in prime time, and bad mouth the Democratic Party's candidate ever again.

So now the remaining Republicans in the Senate know that the Dems are just as deterrable, just as scared of their own shadows, as they were before November 4th. Just f-ing great.

Update: It just gets worse. Jane Hamsher writes "This is about telling you that you mean nothing." And you don't, because you'll keep turning out and donating to elect these douchebags as the only even remotely viable and remotely progressive game in town. What to do about that?
