Best Paragraph of the Week

By Fester:

Sean Oxendine at the Next Right is ranking the 2010 Senate races.  I have a couple marginal quibbles with his system as there are a couple of seats that I would move one spot over such as Pennsylvania being an already competetive seat, but I agree with most of his categorization.  However he also gets the best paragraph of the week on any blog with the following descriptions of several safe seat Republicans:

Unless Murkowski becomes a convicted felon, she should be safe, and even then it appears it would be a 50-50 proposition....

Idaho (Mike Crapo) – Assuming he avoids airport bathroom stalls, he should be handily re-elected.

Louisiana (David Vitter) – Yes I know about the hooker. I also know about the 67% approval rating he was sporting in the wake of the scandal (and 55% in July of this year)..

I am not an obsessive horse race writer, but this is a fair description of the current state of play for 2010 Senate races, and these three descriptions are enough to entice you to read the entire piece.
