Schadenfreude Alert

By BJ

I really couldn't help but laugh when I read this.

McCain campaign attacks Bill Kristol: 'He's bought into the Obama campaign's party line.'

As John Cole said a little while back, the circular firing squad is going to be fun to watch, and to some extent it already is.

WOW! I smell a NY Times plot here to promote Krugman into a Nobel by hiring Kristol to play the idiot, as he does so well, in contrast to Krugman's intelligence. The consistent contrast in analytical ability between the two in one newspaper helps Krugman to seem more brilliant. You can't trust those wily liberals at the NY Times to promote their schemes. Now, if the NY Times hires that guy at Powerline, we''l know the extent of the Times' plot to pollute our minds (as well as our bodily fluids) with the liberal poison of Krugmanism.

"Whoever can speak, speaking now to the whole nation, becomes a power, a branch of government, with inalienable weight in law-making, in all acts of authority. It matters not what rank he has, what revenues or garnitures. The requisite thing is, that he have a tongue which others will listen to; this and nothing more is requisite. The nation is governed by all that has tongue in the nation: Democracy is virtually there."
