Todd Palin, The Shadow Governor

By Cernig

This is rather worrying. Todd likes to sit in on Sarah's meetings, gets copied in on confedential State emails and make phonecalls demanding official's resignations. He appears to have been instrumental in getting one of Governor Palin's former trusted advisors, John Bitney, fired without notice or reason - but Bitney was dating the ex-wife of Todd Palin's best friend.

Does America really need a Shadow Veep after eight years of the Veep being a Shadow President? Is that a change it can believe in?

It would be an insult to the American people should McCain manage to steal this election and have this woman as the second in command.

She seems to be exacly what most American people are sick and tired of.

why the surprise--they're republicans. this is what they do when they find themselves or their cronies or relatives in government, at whatever level.
we need to uproot them, throw them in the trash and sow the ground they grew in with salt. they are truly despicable people.
and i do not want to hear from anyone who has a "nice" republican friend. as far as i am concerned, a "nice" republican is akin to a historic "good german," someone turning a blind eye while their country was raped and plundered. they are the people who had bush and cheney's backs, and bad cess to them--all of them.

It is absolutely understandable, that a husband of Sarah is supportive and helping. It is even OK, if Todd is Sarah's protector and adviser.
However, it is odd, that a husband is copied on official mail from Governor's office. It is also less understandable, that Todd attends Sarah's meetings with officials, lawmakers or corporate leaders. Because of these kinks, Alaskans do not doubt long ago, that Todd has a significant influence on Sarah's decisions - http://www.votetheday.com/polls/todd-palins-role-272

"Whoever can speak, speaking now to the whole nation, becomes a power, a branch of government, with inalienable weight in law-making, in all acts of authority. It matters not what rank he has, what revenues or garnitures. The requisite thing is, that he have a tongue which others will listen to; this and nothing more is requisite. The nation is governed by all that has tongue in the nation: Democracy is virtually there."
