Surge success illustrated
By Libby
This post at Crooks & Liars didn't receive nearly enough attention. A Guardian journalist, who is a native Iraqi, returns to Baghdad to video the scenes the elite media can't show us because they would be killed if they tried to get the footage. Watch it in full. It's under 15 minutes long in total. This is what "the success" of the surge looks like.
Part Two: The Killing Fields.
Part Three: The Lost Generation.
Does this look like peace and normalcy to you? It surely doesn't to me.

Thanks for that Libby. It's too bad everyone won't see it.

It won't be because I'm not trying Ron. I posted these everywhere I could. Glad you took the time to watch it. I hope everyone does.

I've no idea why those 4 videos didn't make more of a stir when the Guardian published them in March.
If you're looking for Video Reports we've got links to quite a few on "Guides". (You'll find the Gaith Abdul-Ahad's series linked to on page of that category.)
There's a series that I'd love to see more publicised and that's the 5 part documentary by MSF about a double amputee child learning to walk again. MSF: Iraq-Jordan: Mouna, a double amputee 5 part video series.
The late Lurch of Main and Central did a wonderful pick up posting and IIRC so did SIUN on Firedoglake. But it really deserves to be seen (and MSF deserve as much money as they can get.)
Erdla.
PS: HOpe this comment doesn't exceed your link limit. If you had to dig it out of the spam filters my apologies.

I think the comment is fine GG and thanks for the links. And may Lurch rest in peace. It's been a while since I've heard his name. It was a great loss when he died.
