Bouncing

Obama has gotten a bit of a "convention bounce". This is without Bill Clinton's speech last night - probably the biggest thing that will happen this convention.  Why is Bill's speech/ endorsement of Barack such a big deal?  While I'm not a big Bill Clinton fan to many he is a superstar, yes a "celebrity". Among those many a working class types who might have trouble voting for a black man and as much as we might not want to admit it there are a lot of otherwise fine people out there who fall into this category - enough of them to make a difference.  The Obama campaign must use the celebrity that is Bill Clinton as much as he will let them and judging from the speech last night he is willing.
