Can't Think of a Title Nasty Enough

The Rev. Paperboy asks:

Imagine you're a small town cop in the heartland of America. You're responding to a report about a teen walking on the expressway overpass - a driver was worried the kid might get hit by a car or something. You arrive to find the 16-year-old lying on the shoulder of the highway 30 feet below the overpass. Do you:

1. Call an ambulance
2. Render first aid
3. Order him to get up and taser him 19 times when he fails to comply because its hard to stand up with a broken spine.

If you answered number 3, then WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!

And the ugliest part of it all is this quote from the linked story:

Police say although there are several unanswered questions; the reason for the use of a stun gun is not one of them.

Yeah, because apparently using a stun gun 19 times on someone lying on the ground with a broken back is perfectly acceptable behaviour for today's average cop.

That is, in all seriousness, the scariest thing I've read today, which is saying something given this is the day's major headline. Its probably due to the fact that the cops are looking to investigate the latter individual's actions rather than defend them.
